This Privacy Policy describes the Ministère's policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the Image Bank and informs you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

The Ministère uses your data to provide and improve the Service. By opting out of the collection of information, you will not be able to access the features of the Service.

The following definitions have the same meaning whether they appear in the singular or the plural form.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the following definitions apply:

Device: any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cell phone or digital tablet;
Account: means a unique account created for you to access our Service or parts of our Service;
Usage Data: data collected automatically, generated either by the use of the Service or by the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit);
Ministère: Ministère du Tourisme du Québec;
We, our: refers to the Ministère du Tourisme du Québec;
Professional information: all information relating to the identification of your professional account;
Service or Website: refers to the Ministère's Image Bank;
You: means the person accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf that person is accessing or using the Service, as the case may be.

Collection of your Professional Information

The Ministère does not ask you to provide personal information when using the Service.

Professional information collected:

• first and last name;
• professional e-mail;
• company you work for;
• professional phone number;
• professional address;
• your company's Web site;
• reasons for using our Service.

Use of your Professional Information

The Ministère may use Professional Information for the following purposes:

• to provide and maintain the Service, including to monitor use of the Service;
• to manage your Account, that is to manage your registration as a user of the Service. The data you provide may give you access to different features of the Service that are available to you as a registered user;
• to manage your requests, that is to allow us to administer your requests and ensure the necessary follow-up;
• to communicate with you in connection with the use of the Service;
• some data are also used for statistical purposes.

Retention of your Professional Information

We will retain and use your Business Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with the provisions of applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

At the Ministère, only authorized persons for whom this information is necessary for the performance of their duties will have access to it. Authorized representatives of the firm Orkis, duly mandated by the Ministère, will also have access to this information.

Specific information on user profile data:
• they are kept for at least the time during which the user account is active, and for a maximum of two (2) years following the inactivity of the account. the purge of inactive accounts will be initiated either by the Ministère (after 2 years of inactivity), or at the request of the user;
• the deletion of the user account automatically results in the immediate deletion, on the Website, of all the data contained in the forms related to order, delivery, contributions, connection statistics, downloads, etc. However, these data remain archived on the servers of the firm Orkis, and will be used in the event of a dispute only. Users can make a request for deletion of all of their data, if they can attest that any image borrowed from the Image Bank is no longer used, published or kept by the user or the company for which the pictures were uploaded.

All necessary precautions will be taken to ensure the privacy of the information and data entered.

You have a right of access the information you have provided, and you also have the right to request its correction. You can make changes to your profile on our Website or send a request to correct or delete your profile to photo@bonjourquebec.com.

Transmission of Personal Information

If you voluntarily communicate personal information to us, by e-mail or by means of an electronic form, we only use the information required to allow the personnel of the Service to answer your message and follow up on your request. Electronic correspondence is treated according to the same privacy measures as other written documents, in accordance with the rules of protection applicable to information provided for in the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (CQLR, Chapter A-2.1).

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and to store certain information. The technologies used are markers and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze the Service.

When you access the Website, your device and the Website server automatically exchange information.

The information exchanged is as follows:
